Harold steps in and attempts to shake Stingray from the negative path he is taking. Harold calls on Stingray in an effort to get him to visit Sky in hospital. He finds Stingray passed out on the floor, a state which seems to be due to consuming a large amount of alcohol. Harold attempts to sober him up by dousing him with a bucket of water and demanding that he come with him to the hospital. Stingray seems reluctant but Harold is determined to get through to him and orders him to shower and join him downstairs. Stringray continues to pull away and he attempts to sneak past Harold. He catches a break as he run into Janae whilst hiding around the corner from Harold who is waiting just outside the front doors of Lassiters. Stingray asks his sister for some money and lies saying he needs it for a gift for Sky as he has left his own money back in his room.

Summer surprises Steph by turning up at number 32 unannounced. At first Steph believes Max has returned as various things have been moved around in the living room and food has been taken out in the kitchen. Summer appears as Steph is rushing around the house insisting that it must be Max that was back. Steph is delighted to see Summer and agrees that it is a good idea that she has returned home to her family rather than worrying about Max from the isolation of her school. Steph concerned when Summer tells her that she has left her school for good this time. Susan shows similar emotions when Summer heads into Erinsborough High the following day to ask about enrolling at the school.

Having stumbled upon some old Erinsborough High School year books in number 28, Rachel and Bree plan their next attack on Pepper. Their plan involves creating a effigy of their new teacher to which they will add a blown up picture of Pepper from the year book and a poem Pepper had also added. Their plans are taken over somewhat by Janae and then Toadie who begin arguing over the best way to perfect the prank. Toadie explains to Janae that he is more professional when it comes to pranks and points out ways to push the boundaries when it comes to this one. Despite all the help the pairs prank falls a little flat as Susan is covering for Pepper and so she pulls down the effigy quickly and disperses the group of laughing students from around it. She points out that she’ll find out who is responsible for the prank.

Janae realises her mistake in lending Stingray the money as she stops by the hospital to visit Sky. Harold is in the room explaining to Sky that Stingray had slipped away from him. Janae mentions the present Stingray said he was spending the money she lent him and gets a shock when Harold mutters the money has probably been drunk by now. Janae is furious when she finds out that Stingray “lied to me and took my money to buy grog”.

Summer gets a treat as Bree and Rachel think of ways the cheer her up. They pass the garage during lunch and spot Janae cleaning a classic car in the lot outside. They’re impressed and suggest that they take the car for a spin with Summer to cheer her up. Luckily Steph and Toadie are also passing by at that moment and Steph agrees to take them for a ride. The group end up at the Scarlet Bar sporting “Thelma and Louise” head scarves and glasses and Steph treats them all to mocktails.

Sky makes peace with Teresa after Harold suggests the lies Teresa told were due to the fact that she was lonely. Teresa admits as much when Sky tells her that she knows the talk about her baby and husband are lies. Despite appearing to put these problems to rest Teresa still seems uneasy and sits with a hand on Sky’s stomach whilst Sky sleeps. Teresa whispers to the bump that “it won’t be long now and I’ll take you away from them”.

Bree and Rachel are confronted by Susan as they return to number 28. She has found the yearbook from which the poetry was lifted and found a load of printed posters with similar content to those used in the prank at school. Susan tells them that the campaign against Pepper must end. She emphasises this by reading a second batch of poems. Bree laughs at them, however Rachel looks uneasy. As Bree leaves Susan turns to Rachel who knows that the poems are hers. Susan warns that this fact will be made public if the targeting of Pepper continues.
