Despite Loris telling him how to vote, Dylan backs Elle?s proposal to renovate Lassiters. They compromise on just redoing the interior of the hotel as a cost saving measure, however Loris is still adamant that it will hamper Lassiters profits in a big way. Dylan and Elle begin to build on the unity started by agreeing on the proposal with Elle delighted that her brothers ideas will be used. Elle invites Dylan to join her in tasting new items for the menu at Lassiters. At first Dylan appears reluctant however the relaxed air between them encourages him to agree. The pair end up laughing and joking during the tasting and Dylan admits that he is happy when he is with Elle, something which he really needs at the moment.

Janelle finds out about Stingray?s alcohol problem as an angry Mishka points out that she should be spending more time keeping her family in check instead of chasing Lou. At first Janelle laughs off Mishka?s comment however a guilty looking Harold and Loris as Stingray?s problem is mentioned tells Janelle something is wrong. She attempts to call Stingray on his mobile and then at Lassiters when there is no response. She is told that Stingray hadn?t returned to his room the previous night increasing Janelle?s concern.

Katya finds herself giving into the blackmail demands of Guy. She calls an old contact and then heads out to the Lassiter complex. She hovers around a jet black Audi TT eventually moving towards the driver door and using a tool kit to break in. Once inside she disables the alarm and hot wires the car leaving her free to drive off. She takes the Audi to her contact where she gets an envelope of cash for the car. The excitement of the theft seems to fill Katya with life. She purchases an expensive watch for Ned, which she tells him is bought from money she put on an horse, and informs him that she wants to live again after spending many years ?slaving away just to pay bills?. Ned doesn?t understand the full implications of these comments however it seems Katya is keen to relive the rush gained by stealing the Audi as she eyes up a red Porsche about to be parked by a Lassiter valet.

Susan gets news that Billy and Anne are going to have a baby and rushes around Ramsay Street and Lassiters informing her friends about the good news. Harold suggests she plan a trip to see them both an idea which appeals a lot to Susan. She admits to Lyn that she is unsure about leaving the children and Karl alone however Lyn points out that she could return quickly if a problem arose.

Ned attempts to set the record straight with both Loris and Harold. He tells Loris that it is fine if she wants to withdraw the offer of a job as a personal trainer at Lassiters. He then attempts to explain the kiss with Loris to Harold, pointing out that he was just the rebound guy. He encourages Harold to continue his attempts to win Loris pointing out that Harold is much more suitable for her.
