Rosetta finds herself in a difficult situation having listened to Teresa’s accusations that Carmella was involved in selling Teresa’s baby. Rosetta confronts Carmella with this truth and is unnerved as Carmella doesn’t deny her involvement.

Loris snaps at Lyn as the stress of recent events catch up with her. Her lashing out seems to shake Lyn and an apology is not offered until the following morning when Loris admits that she was at fault. Lyn accepts the apology readily and comforts Loris as she begins to cry over her belief that her poor skills as a grandmother had lead to the current situation.

Elle has contact with Dylan who left for a conference around the time of Kerry’s disappearance. She tries to get him to come home and help with the search effort but Dylan refuses. Elle gets an interesting phone call from the people running the conference which Dylan is attending. They claim that Dylan never attended the conference and are ringing to find out what happened to him.

Katya is forced to lie to Ned as he finds her sitting in a BMW convertible in the car park at the Lassiter complex. Thinking on the spot she tells him that she is picking up the car for one of the surgeons at the hospital. Ned suggests that they take a short detour making use of the car whilst they have it. Katya struggles to refuse this request and they end up driving around instead of Katya taking the stolen car to her contact. Katya is very nervous about staying in the car but Ned doesn’t appear to notice her anxiety. She gets a text message demanding to know where the money from the car is.

Toadie helps Steph out as she flounders with the mass of Scarlet Bar paperwork that needs to be sort by her since Max is no longer there to take care of the task.

Pepper manages to calm Frazer down after he rubbishes her attempts to create a nice dinner for them. He seems distracted by the problems Rosetta appears to be having with Carmella and criticises Pepper for getting her priorities wrong. He eventually gives in to Pepper and apologises for his harsh words. Pepper manages to get him to forget about the hospital entirely as they finish dinner and she begins kissing him passionately. Frazer is keen to stress that there are no strings attached if they spend the night together. Pepper agrees to this but appears a little unhappy at his indifferent nature to her the following morning.

Dylan has taken baby Kerry. He is seen in a nondescript hotel room holding Kerry in a pink baby blanket. He has a flashback to the night of the fire at the hospital and how he found Kerry wrapped in her blanked in the bushes nearby. He talks to Kerry telling her how he fell in love the moment he laid eyes on her and how she makes him happier than he has ever been before.
