Pepper enlists the help of Zeke as she attempts to woo Frazer. Frazer is unnerved by her attempts which he feels are taking things to the next level which was not part of their arrangement. Zeke watches silently as the two of them debate whether their relationship is becoming too close to the real thing. The pair code bits of their conversation to mask the true nature of their discussion but Zeke still picks up on the strangeness of it. As Frazer disappears Zeke asks Pepper why she tries so hard to impress her fiancée when it seems clear that he is unimpressed with her efforts. She informs him that adult relationships are complicated and that Frazer really does care about her and their relationship but Zeke remains sceptical.

As soon as she gets the chance Katya drives the stolen BMW car to her contact and receives cash for the vehicle. Her contact expresses surprise at seeing Katya return with another stolen car so quickly and Katya once again tells her that this is her last job.

Zeke continues to offer help to Pepper and seems delighted spending time with her. As he compliments her and helps her with a picnic she has planned for her and Frazer she kisses him lightly on the forehead and tells him that he is now her favourite pupil. Zeke helps her carry the hamper and blanket to the local part and they set everything up in the rotunda there. As Frazer appears Pepper tells Zeke to leave to help with the image that she had organised the picnic herself. Zeke heads out of sight but stops and watches in disbelief as Frazer turns up to the romantic picnic with Ned and a six pack of beer. Pepper is distraught at this turn of events and quickly pulls Frazer to one size. Frazer coolly informs her that her picnic flew in the face of their arrangement. Peppers argument that they should at least try and look like a couple is waved away by Frazer who then saunters back to the rotunda leaving Pepper looking a little lost. Zeke continues to watch opened mouth and he seems furious at Frazer and his attitude.

Toadie finds himself in an uncomfortable position as Lyn lets slip about a romantic dream she had of him. In the dream he had come running along a beach toward her and they had kissed. Whilst Steph laughs the dream off Toadie seems shaken by the possible implications. He tracks down Ned and informs him that he is moving back to number 30 and that someone will have to be kicked out to make room for him. Lyn steps in as Ned tells her about the problems he is having trying to make space at number 30. She talks to Toadie and challenges him about the real reason behind him wanting to leave. She tells him that, despite the dream, Steph doesn’t have romantic feelings for her friend.

Mishka pulls a sickie, phoning the airline and tells them she has contracted a highly contagious disease. She lies to Lou at first telling him that she has time off because there was a problem with the plane she was going to be working on. A call from the airline that Lou answers puts an end to the lie and Mishka admits that she didn’t want to leave Lou as he helps deal with baby Kerry’s disappearance.

Zeke gets a shock whilst swinging a cricket bat outside in the street. It is night time and he spots Pepper coming out of number 30 in her nightie. He wanders over and Pepper stops in front of him and begins talking. He stands in a shocked silence as Pepper tells him how she has fallen in love with him. He watches puzzled as she then wanders vaguely off into the darkness.

Despite handing over most of the money from the stolen BMW to Guy, Katya continues to be blackmailed. She attempts to threaten Guy back by handing him a print out of police wanted poster stating they’re looking for Guy. He points out that if she does go to the police he will let everyone know about her past. The appearance of Ned allows him to test Katya and Guy invites Ned to join them. Pretending to be a friend of Katya’s from nursing school Guy offers to tell Ned stories about Katya that would “make his hair fall out”. He continues to goad Katya through Ned and demands Katya pay him $10,000 as Ned disappears to get another beer for them both. Guy bumps the money up to $20,000 as Katya attempts to complain.
