Rosie continues to wrestle with her feelings for Will. She continues to press Carmella to tell Will the truth about her past and her involvement in selling Teresa’s baby. Carmella attempts to bring the subject up but Will waves it away telling her to leave the past in the past. As Rosie criticises her sister for continuing to withhold the truth from Will, Carmella suggests that Rosie has a crush on Will and is simply trying to get Carmella to provide scope for her and Will to split up. Rosie attempts to laugh this off, but Camella’s comments fall close to the truth.

After his surreal encounter with Pepper several nights ago, in which she wandered out into Ramsay Street in her nightie and told Zeke she loved him, Zeke plans how best to approach Pepper now that he has heard her true feelings. He finds himself daydreaming whilst cleaning the pool at number 30, a fantasy which sees him in the same spot but sporting a pony tail and fancy shirt and shades. Pepper approaches him wearing a loose robe over her swimming gear and they interact as though they were a couple. He is shaken out of the dream by Pepper who had been calling him. He tries to bring up the subject of their night time encounter but she suggests her return home as a distracted Rosie comes out of the back door of number 30.

Janae is delighted when she finds Boyd has returned home. He seems less happy and avoids any physical contact with Janae creating distractions to stave off any romantic situation. He tells Janae that his reason for returning was the realisation that Max will return when he feels he should do and Boyd traipsing around looking for him doesn’t help anyone. His distance continues as they head to the General Store for breakfast. Boyd gets a phone call which he moves away from their table to answer. In an angry whisper he states that the “newspaper already interviewed me in Tasmania. That’s all I’ve got to say”.

Will finds himself being followed by the car which trailed him a while back. He tries to ignore it once more but eventually gives in as the man inside points out that the situation looks a lot stranger than if Will just got in the car for a quick chat. Will gets into the car and the man informs him that he has 3 weeks after which time his eligibility to claim his birthright will be lost. He is spotted as he leaves the car by Zeke who attempts to get Will to comment on how close Pepper and Frazer are.

Carmella continues to be supported b her friends. She gets a visit from Frazer who seems interested in her after reading Rosetta’s diary in which she mentions Carmella’s secret, though not in specific terms. Will continues to visit frequently and he is there as her facial bandages are removed and the results of the surgery are inspected. Carmella’s left cheek contains a area of puffed skin as a result of the burns suffered during Teresa’s attack and the skin graft to lessen its severity. Will seems shaken by the scar and Carmella is horrified, declaring her injuries as an act of God.

Rosetta and Pepper find themselves confiding in each other. Rosetta admits that she has a crush on Will and only set him up with Carmella as she was unsure how to act on her feelings. Pepper reveals that she and Frazer aren’t really a couple, they just used the fact so they could find good accommodation (with a stable couple with dual income proving more acceptable for more landlords). She explains that despite Frazer appearing uninterested in her, she has fallen in love with him. Pepper appears relieved at Rosetta’s negative response as she points out that Frazer may have a crush on her and gets Rosetta to help her out by pretending that she has found a boyfriend freeing up Frazer for Pepper to try and win over.
