Janae finds herself tempted by a job offer from another garage. She continues to clash with Chris over her attempts to look more feminine whilst working, rebelling against Chris’s opinion that they should look professional whilst at work. Rex Colt, the owner of Black Stallion Motors, lets Janae know that dressing more seductively is encouraged at his garaged rather than frowned upon as it is whilst working for Chris. He decision to move is cemented as Rex jots down the large weekly salary she will start on if she joins his garage.

Bree chooses to change her name to the unique “Trinity Black”. As she can’t legally change her name whilst under the age of 18 she simply refuses to speak unless people use her new identity. Rachel suggests that Bree’s desire for change comes from Stingray’s verbal attack as they attempted to get him help. Bree assures her that his comments that Bree will never be a real Timmin’s are not the sole reason for the change, but they did lead her to do some thinking about her place in the family.

Frazer finds himself in hell as his agreement with Pepper continues to become more serious. Still unaware that the engagement is simply a business arrangement designed to make things easier whilst house hunting, Peppers parents organise a surprise party for her and Frazer. Pepper rushes back to number 30 to give Frazer the heads up but she is joined moments later by both Christine Rodd and Allan Steiger and the party gets underway. Frazer is very uncomfortable with the whole event however Pepper’s pleas for him to play along eventually succeed and Frazer attempts to look happy during the party.

The residents of number 30 pull together to help Carmella get the money she needs for surgery to lessen the scarring on her face. The large amount sees Rosetta suggest she appeal to their mother, however Frazer tells them that he can win the money by betting on a horse. Will stumps up the capital for the venture and he, Ned and Frazer settle at a table in the Scarlet Bar to listen to the race. At first it appears the gamble was in vain, however the horse manages to win the race and a delighted Will rushes to the hospital to give Carmella the good news.

Zeke attempts to declare his love for Pepper during her engagement party at number 30. He interrupts a speech by Allan Steiger in which he insists that Pepper loves him. Pepper calms him down quickly however Zeke rushes from the scene in embarrassment as she assures him he is mistaken about her feelings. The reasoning behind his declaration is revealed to Rachel as Pepper wanders out into the street again whilst sleepwalking. This time it is Rachel she faces as she repeats her expressions of love, however Rachel picks up on the fact that she is sleepwalking.

Guy continues to threaten Katya as he creates a bond of trust between himself and Rachel. As Rachel and Bree are heading to school on foot he pulls up in a classic sports car and offers them a lift. Bree is unsure about trusting him, however Rachel assures her everything is fine as he is a good friend of Katya.
