something is wrong as he continues to abstain from all physical contact with her. Boyd has flashbacks to his time in Tasmania and his involvement with Glenys who he met whilst searching for Max. As things come to a head with Janae Boyd admits that something happened with Glenys. He provides Janae with the back story of how he met the other girl who he saved from a river which she was being swept down. He tells Janae that that he didn’t mean for anything to happen, as she realises that his brief relationship with Glenys was the reason for his calm attitude towards Steph straying with Toadie.

Susan returns home after her short visit to see Billy and Anne after they announced that they were having a baby. His lavish preparations in the shape of a meal for her return sees her demanding to know what he has done that he needs to make up for it in such a way. Karl attempts to shrug this off but finds himself admitting the mess he feels he has made with Sky’s pregnancy case. Susan attempt to assure him that it is not his fault however Karl feels he is responsible and points out that Janelle will demands he pays for his mistakes whatever the final results of the paternity test are.

Elle continues to feel pressure from Boyd as he attacks her subtly using the fact that she can’t tell anyone about his attempts to undermine her. He still has access to the items he stole when he broke into number 22 and uses them to buy lavish gifts under her name. She attempts to block his attacks by cancelling her credit cards and informs Boyd of this as she spots him outside in Ramsay Street. He smiles at her accusations pointing out that they make her seem a little crazy and that whoever is rattling her cages seems to be doing a good job.

Janae attempts to deal with the revelation that Boyd has cheated on her. She acts positively towards the news at first pointing out that he was vulnerable whilst in Tasmania and seizing on the fact that he seems to regret spending time with Glenys. She seeks comfort in Janelle later though as she enters number 26 and burst into tears.

Lyn continues to fear the worst about Paul’s secrecy and says as much to Susan as they meet in the Scarlet Bar. Lyn explains that Flick had informed her that Paul had spent time with a young attractive woman whilst he was in New York and Lyn believes that Paul may have grown weary of her already. Her worries are accentuated as Elle begins to act as coyly around her when they are all together.

The results of the paternity test arrive as Dylan and Stingray continues to clash over recent events. Dylan continues to inside that he is Kerry’s father and rejects Stingrays attempts to hold out an olive branch of peace. Karl gathers everyone involved to the surgery at Lassiters and reads out the results of the test.
