Lou and Mishka fail to secure a visa for Mishka as Susan assesses them on their lie that they have know each other for 20 years. The test is a formal one as required by the Australian immigration department and it uses a series of in depth questions which a loving couple should know about each other. They both feel confident that they have done well and are a little surprised when Susan announces that they failed. They get their answer sheets back to look over and find massive holes in their knowledge about each other. They spend their time after the test attempting to correct their errors so they can obtain the visa.
Katya attempts to confront Guy as she heads to a meeting with him to hand over the money he demanded. They are meeting in the bush so Katya plans to make use of the quiet placing to finish things with Guy once and for all. She drives to the spot having taken a small hand gun with her and hides the back behind a tree a just out of sight. When Guy arrives she follows him to the spot and draws the gun as he leaves her side to retrive the bag with the money in. Guy laughs at her when he spots the gun, confident that she wont use it. Once close enough he attempts to overpower Katya and wrestle the gun from her grip. Whilst the pair struggle the gun goes off and both fall backwards in shock.
Will attempts to smooth over the rift that has formed between he and Carmella ever since her accident. Carmella remains adamant that she is not going to have the treatment. Will tells her that he accepts that but encourages her not to avoid the surgery if it is only because she feels like she needs to be punished for her actions. Carmella joins will at the Scarlet Bar however the piercing looks and whispering by the other customers about her scarring leads her to leave upset.
Frazer and Pepper decide to call their phoney engagement off as it becomes clear that things are not working out between them. Pepper remains keen to have a proper relationship with Frazer but he remains cagey and still seems to have eyes for Rosetta. As they argue over who will move out of number 30 they come clean about their lie to the other residents of number 30.
Things remain strained between Toadie and Steph after their kiss. Steph attempts to avoid Toadie when seeking legal advice however they find themselves bumping into each other. The result is an awkward, short meeting which Steph ends quickly suggesting it is best if she leaves.
Paul puzzles over whether he has met Will before as he notices him in the Scarlet Bar. He initially brushes this away but he later makes a few phone calls and seems work out who Will is. When Paul enters the Scarlet Bar later he stands next to Will at the counter and makes a call to Sebastian, a name who Will recognises instantly.
