The news of Max’s reappearance at the Salvation Army soup kitchen spreads amongst his family. Steph is furious that no-one thought to try and get more details about his whereabouts so he could be tracked down. Upon hearing the news Boyd confronts Harold in an attempt to get more information. Anger takes over and he barges into the kitchen of the General Store and pushes Harold roughly against the counter demanding answers. Janae manages to calm him down before he does any further damage however Boyd’s anger at the situation remains.

The Timmins get a letter from Loris. Janelle’s indifference to the message changes as she reads its content. Loris is giving her 49% stake in Lassiters to the Timmins to do with as they please. A shocked Paul finds them lounging in a meeting room at Lassiters for a meeting of shareholders. Elle attempts to remain positive in the face of the change, however Paul grows more disgusted as Janelle explains that ‘Team Timmins’ or ‘Timmins Inc’ and the Robinsons are now equal partners when it comes to Lassiters. Whilst the news causes problems for Paul it seems to have united the Timmins again and Stingray and Dylan return to a semblance of normality as they begin talking again.

Carmella receives a dose of advice from Paul after she continues to push away the opportunity of getting surgery to lessen the scarring on her face. Paul tells her that no amount of surgery can fix his leg and it is foolish for her to push away help, especially if it is due to some feeling of it being due punishment.

Elle comes clean to Paul about her involvement in Max’s problems. She finds herself admitting the truth as Boyd continues to torment her. He lets down the tires to her car causing her to lash out at him in the Lassiter car park where the damage was done. Paul emerges next to them and Elle is forced to quieten in case she exposes her own misdeeds. Paul picks up on the tension between her and Boyd and encourages Elle to tell him what has happened. She admits that she has something to tell him and explains everything once they are home. Paul points out how badly she hurt Max but her own guilt over the situation seems to relieve some of his anger. He promises to help sort out Boyd as Elle tells him about Boyd’s vendetta against her.
