Paul returns to his more menacing ways as he confronts Boyd over his attempts to get revenge on Elle. Paul follows Boyd into the back room of the Scarlet Bar and confronts him about his actions. Boyd attempts to stand up to Paul, however Paul shrugs off his attempts to appear strong and points out that he is the wrong person to battle. He tells Elle that he has convinced Boyd to drop his attempts to undermine her however he doesn’t correct Elle’s assumption that he had managed this without resorting to his old habits of threats and bullying.

Mishka spends time before her and Lou’s appointment with an immigration official brushing up on her knowledge of Australia. She launches into a full rendition of the Australian National Anthem whilst at the Scarlet Bar with Rosetta and then trails Boyd round the bar reciting a poem she has written about Australia. The meeting itself goes fairly well despite a few hiccups as the official notes that Mishka didn’t tell Lou about being married when they first met. Mishka delights in singing the anthem and reading the poem to the official. It seems that he is satisfied with both of their interviews however Mishka makes a massive blunder as she attempts to complete the process by slipping him a wad of money. The official is taken aback despite Mishka insisting that such practices are common in her homeland. The official is forced to take action which sees Mishka being arrested as bribery is a criminal offence. As she is dragged away by security the official points out that she will be returned to Russia.

Janae starts working for Black Stallion Motors having quit her previous garage job with Chris. Rex hands her a revealing uniform to wear and leaves her to wash the cars in the showroom part of the garage. Boyd seems a little sceptical of the setup when he comes to visit her, pointing out that Rex doesn’t have any of his male employees dressed in such uniformed. Janae waves away his doubt saying that she simply has to work her way up and expects to be working in the more mechanical part of the business quickly.

Rosetta finds an unusual friendship in Paul who rescues her from an angry Rex Colt who is concerned about the progress of his divorce proceedings. Paul continues their encounter by inviting her to make some changes to his will, a legal action which he was going to ask Toadie to perform. Paul compliments her as they spend time amending the will in Toadies office and Paul’s ease when talking to her sees her becoming flustered quickly.

After her chat with Paul, Carmella decides to go ahead with the operation to treat her facial scarring. He decision seems to reenergise Carmella and her relationship with Will returns to the positive comfort that they enjoyed before her accident.
