Boyd is alarmed as Steph tells him that Glennys has called the Scarlet Bar and left a message for him. He keeps the true about Glennys from Steph allowing her assumption that she is a male friend he met whilst searching for Max in Tasmania. This changes as she overhears him pleading with Glennys to stop contacting him. Boyd finds himself admitting that things were more serious between him and Glennys.

Paul’s prediction that he and Rosie would have to stay locked in the cellar overnight proves correct. There is tension between the pair as both seem unable to relax in the confined space. The opening of one of the wine bottles sees them both mellow and talk quickly turns towards relationships. Paul is shocked to find that Rosetta has yet to have a serious relationship and expresses real love for Lyn explaining that he has seen her grown in confidence and business prowess ever since he first nudged her into business, a fact which really warms him. The following morning and Paul lays his cards on the table telling Rosie that he has feelings for her. This truth is prompted by his reluctance to hunker down with her in the freezing cellar. Tempers rise as Rosie suggests that Paul staged the whole event in an attempt to attract her. As their passions rise they draw closer and move in to kiss. They drop all pretence and begin kissing passionately only breaking about as they are discovered by a rather confused Lassiter employee who enters the cellar for some win. A flustered Paul walks away from Rosetta and moves attention away from what was just happening by haranguing the staff member for allowing them to get trapped down in the cellar.

Will and Carmella put the final additions to the Christmas decorations at number 30 which is a large Christmas tree which they drape in tinsel and baubles.. They are distracted by Frazer who announces that he plans to move out of the house immediately having officially given up on his pursuit of Rosetta. Carmella feels that it is a reflex action by Frazer and his bullish decision is just to cover up his hurt over Rosetta’s apparent disinterest in him despite his best efforts to woo her. She encourages Will to try and talk to him, however they only manage a few gruff words with Frazer maintaining his guard.

After her conversation with Pepper, Lyn begins to worry over Paul’s disappearance with Rosie. She still insists that Paul would not stray and doesn’t acknowledge that it is even possible. Those around her are less optimistic though. Elle seems troubled by events and Boyd seems confident Paul has returned to his old ways. Frazer says as much to Lyn and receives a sharp slap for his suggestion that Paul may have lured Rosetta to get involved with him.

Harold and Lou find themselves at a loose end when Rosetta doesn’t appear for their appointment to discuss legal proceedings against Bonz Air. They reluctantly speak to Toadie about the case, entering his office which has transformed into a extension of the House Of Trouser since Toadie began sleeping in it. Toadie suggest they skip a courtroom battle and use the importance of public profile when it comes to the budget airlines to their advantage. Toadie arranges a meeting with the boss of Bonz Air and allows him to squirm his way out of their legal objections to his treatment of Lou when he applied for a job as a flight attendant. The boss quickly changes his mind when he finds various members of the press outside Toadies office keen to hear more about the discrimination of Lou. He quickly backs inside the office and agree to a financial settlement with Lou. Toadie is dismayed when Lou turns down this offer asking for a position as an attendant on flights to and from Moscow.
