Rosetta confides in Frazer as he insists that something must have happened between her and Paul whilst they were trapped in the Lassiter wine cellar. At first she attempts to dodge his questioning but she eventually drops her guard. She tells Frazer about her embrace with Paul, but stresses that she was the one that initiated the kiss not Paul. Frazer remains sceptical and tells her that he believes that Paul must have given some signals to lead her on. The pair spend the evening together, despite falling out for a short time due to Frazer admitting that he invaded Rosie’s privacy by reading her romance novels and journal. As the day of Paul’s wedding looms Frazer offers to take Rosie’s mind of things and tells her that she will spend the day doing fun things with him instead of moping around the house.

Lyn and her bridesmaids gather on the morning of the wedding. Lyn, Elle, Steph, Susan and Janelle get ready together however Susan and Janelle return to Ramsay Street after a frantic call from Paul who is struggling to keep Oscar under control back at number 22. Susan and Janelle begin bickering as Janelle takes pleasure in passing comments about her recent good fortune in the wealth given to the Timmins after Loris gave them her 49% stake in Lassiters and Susan’s apparent bad fortune with Karl retiring from medicine. They continue to disagree when it comes to the treatment of Oscar who is refusing to put on his suit and has hidden Paul’s prosthetic leg. Susan is alarmed at Janelle’s plan to use tough love on the toddler, however Janelle manages to get her way as Susan has to leave her with Oscar so she can help Paul find his wedding gear. Janelle’s final solution to the problem is to offer Oscar doughnuts if he follows her orders. Whilst this gets him in his suit, he then proceeds to throw up the mass of doughnuts all over Janelle and Susan. In a panic they grab decorations off the Robinson Christmas tree to hide the mess.

Despite Janae encouraging him to leave the past in the past, Boyd seems pleasantly surprised to get further communication from Glennys after her phone calls to the Scarlet Bar. When alone in number 32 Ramsay Street Boyd reads a Christmas card from Glennys though he is jolted back to reality as Janae comes looking for him. He quickly conceals the Christmas card on a shelf in the lounge as she enters the room.

Paul is one of the first to arrive at the church for his marriage to Lyn. He spends time chatting to the minister who will preside over the proceedings however he is distracted by his continuing daydreams about Rosetta. Things are made worse for Paul as Rosetta herself trundles past the church as Paul is standing outside. Thoughts of Rosie continue to plague Paul even as she says ‘I Do’. Those gathered begin to mutter as Paul hesitates several times as his turn to commit to the marriage arrives.
