Paul offers to bail Ned out as the severity of his debts from Paul’s poker game hits Ned. Paul stops short of handing over the cheque for $5,000 adding that he requires Ned to help him out in exchange for coming to Ned’s aid. Ned balks at Paul’s request however Paul points out that Ned has little choice as Arry, who Ned owes, will ruin Ned. To help him achieve Paul’s wish of splitting Elle and Dylan up Ned gets himself invited to the Valentines Day retreat that was created by Rosie’s booking of a house for her and Frazer for a short break. Sky, Dylan, Stingray, Elle, Oliver and Carmella are the others who attend the retreat. As they arrive in the Australian countryside Ned appears to change his mind despite Paul reminding him of his task but his mind is changed again as he overhears the others harsh words about him tagging. Ned sets about plying the couples gathered with wine whilst stirring distrusts amongst them. He needles Dylan about Sky’s closeness with Stingray and then points out Elle’s apparent interest in Oliver. He also creates tension between Carmella and Oliver encouraging Carmella to drink more after Oliver offended her by suggesting that she had drunk too much. As night falls Ned carries a sleeping Dylan to Carmella’s bunk and places him alongside her.

Harold is lost as he exits Grease Monkeys to find his car being driven off by thieves. Paul approaches and begins to laugh as he notices what has happen. Harold cuts him off gasping that Kerry was in the back seat of the car. Harold is forced to face Sky as he returns to Ramsay Street. His car and Kerry are found later by Paul in the car park of Lassiters but this doesn’t lessen Sky’s rage with her grandfather. In desperation Harold lies, muttering that he was car jacked but hadn’t mentioned it before as he felt guilty. This stops Sky’s fury which is replaced by concern for Harold as he was attacked. Paul sees the true situation but suggest that Harold keep quiet about his lie to prevent the problems the truth causes.

Frazer and Rosie continue to progress their relationship tentatively. Frazer is still keen to reveal the truth that his is the brother of Rosetta’s ex fiancé however he has yet to find a quiet moment to tell her this. He suggests that they talk whilst at the Valentines retreat however Rosetta remains reluctant. As they finally steal a moment Rosetta confesses that she though his interest in being alone was linked to a desire to move their relationship to the next level. Frazer assures her that their current pace is adequate and that he understands that lack of experience is stopping Rosie going any further. He tells Rosie that he has genuine feelings for her and then begins to tell her who he really is.
