Lolly continues to accuse Pepper of physically abusing her as a visit by Sandy to Ramsay Street encourages her to stick with the lie. Lou attempts to ensure Lolly is being truthful however his enthusiasm to see justice served sees Lolly retreat into silence as Lou gears up to attack Pepper. Susan stands by Pepper who is given further support by Rosie who offers her friendship and her legal skills to help Pepper get through the hearing which is quickly setup to assess Pepper’s guilt. Lolly, Susan and Pepper all speak at the hearing. Lolly is tentative but Lou encourages her to tell the three chair-people how Pepper attacked her. Susan gives her testament carefully however she is forced to admit that Pepper did behave inappropriately by grabbing Lolly. Pepper tells the chair-people that she is committed to teaching and would never harm a student under her care. The hearing is quickly concluded after the three statements and Pepper is told that she will be removed from teaching at Erinsborough High.

Sky and Harold arrive at Erinsborough hospital after being called in for a meeting with a doctor over Kerry’s test results. The doctor attempts to lead them through to the diagnosis slowly however Sky become increasingly agitated and snaps as the doctor suggests further tests to determine whether Kerry has leukaemia. Harold encourages her to listen to what the doctor has to say but Sky runs from the office as the reality of the situation proves to much for her to bear. Harold calls by number 26 to looks for her as a paniced Sky bumps into Karl. She attempts to get him to agree that the doctor made a mistake before disappearing again. As Harold talks to the Timmin’s he works out where Sky has gone and finds her tearfully talking to her mothers grave. Harold reminds Sky that Kerry has a mass of support from family and friends and gets Sky to go back to the hospital. This time she and Harold are joined by Stingray, Janelle and Dylan. They listen as the doctor explains again that a further bone marrow test should be performed to check whether Kerry is suffering from leukaemia. Concern rises as the doctor explains that for the test it is advised that no family is present as it is invasive and would be done without a general anaesthetic due to Kerry’s age.

Rosetta and Pepper aid Susan in her efforts to convince Karl to shave his beard. They agree readily and set about convincing Karl that the beard makes him more attractive.

Steiger makes progress in the Timmin’s burglary case. He calls at number 26 and tells Janelle that the race track tickets, which got all of them out of the house and allowed for the robbery to take place, were to the same place that Paul and Elle had visited a week before. Janelle is keep to confront Paul with this however Steiger encourages her to bide her time and play things smartly.
