Pepper continues in her effort to reunited Frazer and Rosetta. Frazer remains sceptical of Rosie ever since Ringo announced her kiss with Pepper. Pepper informs Frazer that Rosetta is just a “sesbian” – she’s simply lingering on the possibility that her kiss with Pepper meant more so she doesn’t have to face her true feelings about Frazer. Pepper takes control of the situation and proposes a plan to force Rosetta’s hand. She visits Rosie at work and straps a heart monitor to her. She then removes her coat to reveal that she is only wearing her underwear. Rosie’s heart rate remains fairly constant despite her friends near nakedness. Pepper then calls Frazer in and he strips in a similar fashion with a degree of reluctance. The beeping from the heart rate monitor increases ten fold as Frazer stands in front of Rosie in his pants and flexes as Pepper commands him to.

Lolly calls by number 30 to talk to Ringo and tell him that Sandy has returned home. Ringo is open with Lolly as they both agree that their relationship is closer to that of brother and sister rather than boyfriend and girlfriend. Ringo points out that his ability to talk to Lolly so frankly is proof of their sibling like relationship as he finds himself getting tongue tied and aggressive around girls he likes. Lolly laughs as she understands he is talking about Rachel and Ringo explains about his awkwardness after rescuing Sandy from the pool. Ringo admits that it was his fear of water that prevented him from diving into the pool and this is the reason why he was so embarrassed around Rachel.

Boyd finds himself agreeing with Janae’s assurances that she would never intentionally hurt Glenn regardless of Glenn’s relationship with her husband. The problem of the tampered brakes remain and Steiger is forced to question Janae formally as she is the main suspect since it was her job to work on Glenn’s hire car whilst it was in the garage. Elle hovers around Glenn and Boyd watching over proceedings, slamming Janae at any opportunity as part of her efforts to drive Glenn and Boyd together. Elle’s enthusiasm actually clears Janae’s name as Lolly overhears her talking to Paul about the accident and Lolly tells Steiger that she was the one who tampered with the brakes in the car as she thought it was Sandy’s. Janae’s innocence does not change the big problems facing her relationship with Boyd. She concedes to Boyd once more offering him a final chance. She gives up two weeks to explore his feelings for Glenn if he desires. After which time she will ask him choose between them both. Boyd finds himself turning to Karl for advice. Karl’s words that Boyd should choose with his heart leads him to Glenn’s hospital room where he tells her that he has split with Janae and wants to pursue a relationship with Glenn. They begin to kiss.

Lou helps to undo Lolly’s lies as the truth about Sandy is out. He and Lolly sit down with Susan and explain what has happened and how Pepper was an innocent party in the abuse problem. Lolly is keen for Pepper to be reinstated at Erinsborough High however Susan points out that Pepper was at fault for physically restraining. At Lolly’s worried looks Susan suggests that she may be able to intercept the proceedings against Pepper. Susan passes on the news to Pepper as she finds her with Rosetta having a sleep over in Rosie’s office. Susan encourages the pair of them to hang on to their close friendship and grows sombre as she reminisces about the similar relationship she had with Lyn. Both Pepper and Rosetta encourage Susan to stay and talk to them. Susan does and confides that Karl’s change of lifestyle has fazed her as she feels he has lost his alpha male feeling since leaving medicine. Susan stops short as she begins to discuss the more intimate parts of her relationship with Karl but continues after encouragement from the rapped audience.
