Carmella continues to rebuild her family’s fruit business with a little help from Oliver. They head to their supplier as they begin the first deliveries as a company. The early start is a new occurrence for them but they arrive on time at their supplier’s warehouse. They run into problems quickly as Oliver notes that they’re missing the bulk of their order. Carmella challenges her contact who sheepishly glances at Carmella’s Uncle who is chatting casually with some of the workmen. Carmella realises that Ray has sabotaged her purchase and her failure before even delivering her first orders crushes Carmella. Oliver attempts to turn around her talk of being finished. He suggests they attempt to make do with what they’ve got and attempt to bolster their supplies by finding other suppliers. Carmella points out that Ray will have gotten to all of the suppliers, but Oliver’s talk cheers her up. Things don’t go smoothly as they drop of the Scarlet Bar order. With the produce problems Carmella is only able to give a fraction of what Steph has ordered. Steph lets her know that this is unacceptable especially after she went out on a limb to switch to Carmella as the main supplier to the bar. Carmella promises that she will get the full order to Steph by lunchtime and quietly informs Oliver that she will deal with the suppliers “her way” which means paying them off to force the orders through. Ray seems a little taken aback when he spots Carmella back at the warehouse loading several boxes of fruit and vegetables. Carmella meets his gaze as he questions what she is doing. At her defiance Ray begins to laugh and informs Carmella that their may be room for competition after all.
Kerry’s friends and family get tested for compatibility to give a bone marrow transplant. Tensions run high as the results are processed. Dylan and Stingray attempt to unwind by spending time with friends, but this casual attitude gains criticism from Harold as Sky’s beside vigil seems more fitting given the circumstances. Sky and Dylan continue to squabble whenever they are close as recent developments and Sky’s relationship with Stingray, who has a hard time attempting to keep the peace, lengthens the gulf between them. Roberta Marley calls them all into a meeting room to discuss the results of the tests. Both Stingray and Dylan are compatible matches for Kerry however Dr Marley refuses Dylan’s immediate offer to donate explaining that there were abnormalities with Dylan’s results and so Stingray is the better candidate. Dylan quickly realises the problem as Dr. Marley says Dylan’s abnormality comes from the toxic waste dumped in the wetlands a few years ago and he joins the dots to conclude that it was this exposure is what caused Kerry to develop Leukaemia. Dylan disappears from the hospital as Dr. Marley takes Stingray and Sky aside to explain the procedure to them. Stingray will have to give blood every day for the next two weeks. The blood will be return during and after the marrow is harvested from it to help replace the lost red blood cells. She explains that several minor side effects should be expected but assures Stingray that the risk to his life is minimal. Dylan meanwhile heads to Lassiters to confront Paul about the toxins in his blood. Paul attempts to wave him away but Dylan stands his ground furious at Paul for what has happened to Kerry. Dylan carefully spells out how Paul’s interference in the wetlands, which saw Dylan dive in to save the dying wildlife, caused Dylan’s abnormalities and is the reason for Kerry’s Leukaemia. As Dylan’s aggression grows he steps forward and punches Paul hard in the face.
