News of Janae’s split with Boyd spreads as she joins her family at Erinborough Hospital as the final preparations before Kerry’s bone marrow transplant take place. At first Janae attempts to put on a brave face. Sky’s suggestion that Janae and Boyd may one day have children like her shatters Janae’s façade and she tells those gathered about what has happened through sobs. Moments after hearing the news, Dylan and Stingray leave the room and Dylan checks once to see if his brother is game. Stingray’s positive response sees them track down Boyd to the Lassiter hotel room where he is spending time with Glenn. They barge in, ignoring Glenn’s protests at the intrusion, and inform Boyd that Janae has been broken by his cheating. Boyd attempts to explain his actions as Dylan and Stingray close in on him. They grow weary of his words and jump him venting their frustration over how Boyd’s actions have hurt their sister. Glenn watches the attack in shock and makes a point of calling the police once they have gone. Steiger plays along with her complaint whilst she is in the room. His suggestion that she goes to get some ice for Boyd’s bruised face allows Steiger to be honest with Boyd. He firmly points out that he agrees with Stingray and Dylan’s rage at Boyd and explains that the complaint of assault will be buried rather than followed up.

Sky continues to get flashes of a future without Stingray as the moment of his bone marrow transplant draws near. Her latest vision sees her in the General Store looking at a photograph of her, Kerry and Stingray. As she looks at it, Stingray’s image slowly fades until he is no longer in the shot. She cries out his name and wakes to find herself in Kerry’s hospital room. Harold offers his advice about her haunting dreams. He suggests that the visions are possibly a representation over her concern about the amount of effort Stingray is putting into their relationship and a lack of comparative effort from herself. Harold’s words ring true with Sky and she sets about rectifying this. With the help of the Timmins’s she organises a pretend wedding to show her love for Stringray. Bree uses a internet wedding certificate for the planet Votress to preside over events which will wed Sky and Stingray under Vortressian law. The ceremony lasts a few minutes but both Sky and Stingray agree that they will spend the rest of their lives together.

Pepper continues her efforts to get Frazer and Rosetta back into a steady relationship. Her persistence in badgering Rosie pays off as her friend finally admits that dating Frazer does appeal to her. Pepper then rushes to number 30 to convince Frazer to give things with Rosetta another go. Frazer is hesitant as he is still aware of the problems they had and the last Pepper scheme which saw him out cold on the floor of the Scarlet Bar wearing nothing but a trench coat and his underpants. Pepper pretends to be defeated and encourages Frazer to join her for a drink. Once there she leaves him quickly, telling him that Rosie will be along shortly. Rosetta meanwhile is preparing to leave when she notices a hole in her tights. Her efforts to deal with it quickly see her banging her head on the shelves in her office, knocking her to the floor in a daze which sees her leave Frazer alone in the Scarlet Bar. She rushes to the bar when she realises what has happened but stops short as she peers through the door in the backroom to see Frazer kissing Janae. The pair spring back moments later, both embarrassed by the kiss which happened as Frazer attempted to comfort Janae as she found herself face to face with Boyd and Glenn, however Rosie has already fled. Later, back in her office, Rosetta tells Pepper what she saw and tells her that she is off relationships for good.
