Susan settles into the Ritz Hostel Karl has chosen for their accommodation for their stay in London despite her initial hesitation. As the pair attempt to steal a few minutes alone, snuggling in Susan’s bottom bunk, the rest of the Australian’s sharing the multiple bedded room return. Whilst Karl remains aloof, Susan gets to know the youngsters room sharing with them and she soon ends up drunk and encouraging Karl to join in the communal circle that has been formed. As Karl resists her shouts to get them a pie from the nearest off license, she asks him to begin singing one of his football songs. Karl is reluctant to oblige and the task is quickly taken off his hands by the others as Susan mentions a song they all know. Susan joins them as they strike up the chorus. Karl gets some satisfaction as his lack of participation allows him to rise early the next morning and hassle Susan to get up. She is keen to stay in bed but Karl tells her that they have museums to visit. After visiting the Victoria Albert museum, they find themselves strolling along the Thames. Susan stops chattering as she spots a pair of homeless people huddled against the wall in front of the river. She asks Karl for a pound to give to them but he tells her that he’d rather donate through organised channels and points out that if they gave money to every homeless person they stumbled upon they’d soon be broke. Moments later and they spot a pregnant women sleeping on a bench. She has a newspaper over her face. Susan is adamant that she is giving some money this time and Karl relents. The pair continue to bicker as they move away from the woman. The tabloid newspaper covering her face has a picture of Izzy Hoyland on the cover. The newspaper is slowly pulled away by the woman, who turns out to be Izzy, and she stares in amazement as Karl and Susan walk away from her.
Elle traps Oliver completely as her scheming pays off. Their kiss is broken in time for the car carrying Rosetta, Carmella and Pepper to pull up without seeing them embracing. Oliver greets Carmella coldly but he agrees to give her a few moments to explain her recent actions. Elle is left with Rosie and Pepper and finds herself under fire as Pepper questions her actions suggesting that Elle is trying to steal Oliver from Carmella. Elle attempts to rubbish this and simply tells Rosie and Pepper to get off the property as Pepper continues to accuse her. Oliver listens as Carmella attempts to rationalise her actions promising him that she won’t get caught up in her family business to such a degree in the future. Oliver remains passive even when Carmella tells him that she was only bothered about their relationship, not Ray or the feud between them. As she finished Oliver tells her that her time is up and dashes her hopes by leaving her standing there as he returns to Elle. Pepper, Rosie and Carmella return home as Pepper continues to suggest that Elle has been plotting against her friend. Carmella tries to laugh this off but Rosetta sides with Pepper, suggesting that it’s feasible that something has happened. As night draws in at the cabin Elle puts the final screws into Oliver pushing aside sharing a bed with him for the night under the pretence of not wanting to rush things and the thought of protecting her friendship with Carmella. Oliver is left to think over her restraint as she slinks into the dining room and calls Paul to let him know that she has broken Ollie.
Frazer puts his relationship with Rosetta into question as he brings home a stranger from the Scarlet Bar. Milly approaches Frazer whilst he is sitting at a table in the bar checking out the latest betting odds. She quickly introduces herself and proves that she has a good knowledge of betting. Frazer is impressed and the pair move onto playing several rounds of pool. Her question of whether they is somewhere they can retire to sees Frazer invite her back to number 30, which is empty whilst the other attempt to track down Oliver. Frazer and Milly spend the rest of the evening by the pool in the back garden and wander into the kitchen in their swimming gear as the other three housemates return from their trip. Pepper attacks Frazer immediately as she sides with Rosetta by default. Rosie is more pragmatic by the events though Carmella backs Pepper’s view of disappointment and disgust with Frazer for moving on whilst things with Rosetta are still up in the air. Frazer is completely unapologetic about Milly and defends her the next morning after several of the girls items go missing as Milly leaves.
Paul continues to spend time with Ned in the apartment he is letting his new handy man stay in. Ned remains aggressive towards Paul as he insists on spending more and more time in Ned’s apartment. Thanks to Ringo’s computer talent Ned cracks into Paul’s laptop and copies sensitive documents to a flash drive. Paul is unaware of Ned’s double crossing and is content to spend time playing Doom Slayer on Ned’s Playstation 2. Paul assigns a new task to Ned, asking him to break and enter to retrieve files which should enable Oliver to successfully claim his inheritance. Ned complies reluctantly and hands a CD of data to Paul. Ned and Elle find themselves in a tough spot as Elle returns to Erinsborough with Oliver. The pair enter the Scarlet Bar for breakfast, but Elle shies away as they notice Carmella with Pepper and Rosie inside. Oliver lets her go on her way, which sees her head to Ned’s flat for a quick fling. She enters to find a huddle mass on the couch in the living room. She stalks up to the huddle playfully and begins jabbing at it encouraging Ned to wake up. The sheets are pulled back and a shocked Paul peers out from under them, returning Elle’s question of “what are you doing here”. Ned emerges from his bedroom at that moment and both Elle and Paul turn their questioning gaze to him.
