Carmella and Rosetta encourage Pepper to tell her father about her stalker who she identifies as Kevin Casey. Pepper is reluctant and admits that she never told her parents about her pregnancy which makes it harder to tell Allan. Carmella and Rosetta’s insistence sees Pepper agree to talk to Allan and she stops at number 26 to do so. Allan struggles with the news and breaks as Pepper finds herself admitting to having a relationship with Paul Robinson as she explains she hadn’t panicked until now as she had thought the gifts were from him. Allan heads for a walk leaving Janelle to explain that he is more upset that Pepper has waited until now to confide in him. Her father tracks Pepper down to the Scarlet Bar where she is relaxing with Carmella and Rosetta. Steiger calls Pepper to one side and attempts to make peace with her. He underlines the fact that he is hurt that Pepper chose to leave him out of the loop until now and then suggests a plan of action for keeping Pepper safe. As he talks, Pepper’s phone rings. She answers it and hands it over to Steiger as she realises that it is Kevin on the other end. Steiger talks over the eerie music playing down the line asking Kevin to leave his daughter alone. As he mentions that he can be contacted through Erinsborough police station where he works the line goes dead. The following day and Steiger calls by number 30 having run a background check on Kevin. He tells Pepper that Kevin had been in the army until he was discharged without reason. Pepper is encouraged to stick close to home and be around her friend and family. Despite the precautions taken another gift still finds its was to the doorstep of number 30. A large clown balloon greets Carmella as she tentivly opens the door after a heavy knocking disturbed she and Pepper. Attached to the balloon is a note inviting Pepper to a party at Anson’s Corner playground at 12 noon.

Boyd attempts to win back Janae now that Glenn has returned to Tasmania. He faces stiff resistance from Janelle, Bree and Steiger who attempt to intervene on Janae’s behalf. They grill him as he calls at number 26 whilst Janae is out. Janelle seems slightly more willing to listen to Boyd’s apologies and promises to work hard at his relationship with Janae. Bree remains hostile towards Boyd and Steiger backs her up. Janae isn’t impressed with their inquisition though and agrees to have dinner with Boyd who closes the Scarlet Bar for the evening so they can have a meal together. They find themselves dancing after the meal and Janae begins to cry as her mind wanders to Stingray. Boyd attempts to comfort her however they are interrupted by Carmella, Pepper and Rosetta who barge through the doors. Their intrusion startles Janae and their quiet disapproval at her spending time with Boyd after his affair sees Janae run for home. She talks about the evening with Janelle the next morning as they settle in the back garden of number 26 as Steiger teaches Bree how to prune the trees in the garden. Janae admits that she was taken by Boyd’s kind words and concedes that she still has feelings for her husband. Janelle warns Janae about trusting Boyd so easily pointing out that smooth talking doesn’t make Boyd “real”.

Abby tracks down Toadie as their relationship falters. Toadie tells Abby that his mind has been elsewhere due to the death of Stingray. He is happy to see her though and is reminded by her that he has agreed to take her on as the legal secretary at work. Rosetta isn’t happy with this sudden announcement or with the light-hearted way in which both Toadie and Abby take the job appointment. Rosetta quickly finds problems with Abby as she fires of a list of chores for Abby to do. Abby appears overwhelmed and Rosie notes that Abby is not using shorthand to speed up her note taking. As Abby admits that she doesn’t know short hand, Rosetta heads into Toadie’s office to question Abby’s appointment. At Rosie’s accusation of nepotism, Toadie points out that Rosetta has pulled a similar stunt with Frazer as she has taken on his case against the race track without his express consent. This point only increases Rosetta’s frustration and she issues a challenge as Toadie demands that she get Frazer to sign the legal writs by the end of the week. Rosetta agrees to do so if Abby passes a basic legal secretary exam in the same timeframe.

Harold accompanies Sky as she meets with Terrance Chesterton. He continues to encourage Sky to steer away from the psychic activities of Terrance. Sky is adamant that Terrace is genuine and explains that he is helping her to cope with Stingray’s death. Harold fears that Terrance is simply conning Sky, using her grief to arrange sessions for his financial gain. Harold gets a surprise when a young man presents himself as they wait for Terrance at the rotunda in the local park. Terrance presents himself in a relaxed manner and tells Harold that he understands his scepticism but that he is simply providing both Sky and Stingray peace of mind. Harold mutters throughout the vague snippets Terrance passes on to Sky which he gets as he concentrates and touches Stingray’s skateboard. Terrance’s words mean something to Sky and both she and Harold sit up as Terrance mentions that Stingray has found a new friend in the form of an old lady. Sky is puzzled by this statement and Terrance explains that the friend is Madge. Harold stands at the name of his late wife and calls a stop to the proceedings. Terrance takes his leave as Harold suggest that Madge’s name had been brought up by Sky in a previous meeting with Terrance. Sky points out that she has never mentioned Madge.
