Sky continues to distance herself from her friends and family as she embraces Spirituality. With Terrance’s suggestion that Stingray may be attempting to contact Sky to encourage her to scatter his ashes, Sky tries to change Janelle’s mind after her decision to keep the ashes in an urn at home. Janelle dismisses Sky’s suggestion quickly and makes it clear that she does not wish to scatter the ashes. Sky waits until she gets a chance then returns to number 26 whilst it is empty. She lets herself in and then transfers Stingrays ashes to a plastic bag which she takes home. The next day she heads to the skate park to scatter them as she believes Stingray would want. Sky lies to Bree and Janae as Bree spots her leaving Ramsay Street. Sky tells Bree that she is heading to work as Bree asks her what she is up to. Sky’s lie is exposed as Bree finds herself alone in number 26. The weight of recent events play on her mind and she speaks to Stingray aloud. As she gazes at the urn she notices its lid is half off. A check of the urn shows that it is empty and she realises Sky has taken the ashes. She rushes to stop her friend as Sky is seen standing at the top of a skate ramp. She says a few words and begins to open the bag of ashes to spread them.
Pepper arrives late to Janae’s annulment party at the Scarlet Bar having spent extra time with Mary Casey eating a special walnut cake Mary had baked for her. Pepper is unaware that Mary has added drugs into the cake as she attempts to retaliate against the injustice she felt Pepper did to her son when they were dating several years ago. Pepper arrives at the party safely however the drugs take effect fairly quickly and her mind wanders whilst sitting with her friends. She slumps over on the table but the assumption is that it’s due to having drunk too much rather than anything more sinister. A while later and Rosetta attempts to rouse Pepper. She realises something is wrong as Pepper fails to stir and she asks the Scarlet Bar staff to call and ambulance. Rosetta waits by Pepper’s bedside throughout the evening until Pepper awakens. She is drowsy but safe and quickly begins wondering what happened to her. She and Rosetta conclude that someone must have spiked her drink despite Pepper pointing out that she never left her drink alone. The pair return to number 30 the following morning and the news spreads about what has happened.
Oliver and Elle continue their fake relationship in an effort to get revenge on Paul. Elle remains invested in the relationship having developed strong feelings for Oliver, but she is forced to the sidelines as Oliver actively pursues a relationship with Carmella. Carmella continues to struggle with the revenge plot having already expressed her strong opinions against it. Given the breakdown of her friendship with Elle, Carmella admits that she has a hard time seeing him close to her. Oliver points out that it’s not for ever and agrees that he needs to work twice as hard at their relationship whilst they are forced to secrecy due to Paul and Elle. The plan is moved forward several steps as Oliver settles with Paul in the kitchen of number 30. He acts nervous and informs Paul that he wishes to ask Elle to marry him and wants Paul’s blessing. Paul is delighted to hear his plan is succeeding and readily agrees.
Janae’s annulment party sees various Ramsay Street residents relaxing in the Scarlet Bar. As with a Hen night it’s an all female affair though it contains a few twists given its context. Janelle organises a stripper who puts his clothes back on rather than takes them off and those gathered share stories about the uselessness of the men in their lives. The evening is full of fun and laughs and it’s late when Janae returns home with Janelle. Janae breaks down in tears in the kitchen of number 26 though struggles to explain why. As Janelle comforts her she explains that she’s not upset, just angry and unsure as to what to do next.
Having announced that he has been accepted to serve in the Solomon Island, Steiger packs his bags and says his goodbyes. Janelle puts on a brave face despite her worries that he may not return as he attempts to restore peace in the region. Steiger says as much to Bree who suggest that he shows Janelle that he will return. On the morning of the day Steiger departs he sets up his train set on the table in number 26. Janelle walks in a while later and Steiger invites her to look in one of the carriages on the model locomotive running around the track. She does so and finds an engagement ring which belonged to Steiger’s grandmother. He tells Janelle that he wants her to look after it until her returns and that they will marry when he does. A while later and Steiger loads his bags into the Timmins’s car. Pepper drives Steiger and Janelle to the airport and Janae and Bree wave them off.
