After turning Lolly away, Steph approaches Toadie with a cautious grin on her face. Toadie is completely comfortable and informs her that he often wanders around home with nothing on. Steph accepts this but suggests that he might give her some warning before hand so awkward situations, such as inviting guest in as Toadie is striding around in the buff, don’t occur. Steph’s words play on Toadies mind and he suggests later that he concern is due to her prudish nature. He suggests she gives nudity a try and invites her to go home and spend half an hour with nothing on. Steph scoffs at this at first however Toadie’s gentle goading see her agree. Once back in number 32 Steph gets as far as wandering around in a bath robe. She begins to loosen the robe as her phone rings and she answers and finds Toadie on the other end. She pretends that she has done the deed but is caught in her lie as Toadie appears through the front door of the house. Steph attempts to explain why she held back however she drops her robe after a few moments and agrees that being naked does feel liberating.

Things worsen as Karl learns that Tom is also missing from work and Karl spots him at the Lassiter reception desk ordering wine and not to be disturbed. Karl puts the pieces together and marches up to Tom’s room and bangs on the door. He barges in as Tom answers and looks around for Susan who he believes is with Tom.
