Terrance’s deception is uncovered by Toadie as he increases his search into Terrance’s background looking for anything unusual. After advice from a client he contacts a private investigator to do the digging for him and results are quickly found. Instances of similar behaviour in the past are found in which a man claiming to have the ability to talk to the dead latches on to people and bleeds them of their wealth. Toadie presents this evidence to those who have been affected by Terrance. Janelle raises objections to Toadie’s evidence and Harold joins her as they have both been lured in by Terrance’s words over the last few weeks. They struggle to understand how Terrance could have know so much about them but Toadie explains that Terrance simply accesses confidential files which gives him the knowledge needed to pursued people to believe him. Toadie then shows them a picture from police records of the previous crimes. The black and white photo shows a younger Terrance and proves that he is attempting to con them having instilled the belief that he can talk to their dead loved ones. Their despair at being taken for a ride deepens as Toadie adds the final piece of information as they begin to wonder where Sky is. He explains that Terrance often targeted women and was intimate in sessions he conducted with them, acting under the guise of being possessed by the dead loved ones to allow him to get close. The initial thought that Sky could have been seduced by Terrance is dismissed however Toadie points out that she could have been lured into things if she truly believed Terrance was channelling Stingray.

Rosetta and Frazer’s relationship grows in strength despite Charlotte’s best efforts to interfere. The situation Charlotte created is quickly diffused by Frazer who responds to Rosetta’s queries about the fact that Charlotte left number 30 looking ruffled and half dressed after being alone with Frazer for the afternoon. Frazer laughs off the fact that anything happened between them but hesitates around the truth. He moves beyond it and tells Rosetta that his relationship with Charlotte had been over 2 years and they had spend the time counting cards in casinos around Australia. The truth gives Rosetta strength and she shows this as Charlotte attempts to seed doubt into her mind again as they bump into each other at the Scarlet Bar. Charlotte suggest that Frazer simply lied about rejecting her however Rosetta cuts her of and wrestles control of the conversation from Charlotte informing her that Frazer is in love and much more deeply than he ever was with Charlotte. Rosetta adds that she has always felt that Charlotte belittled her, but it wont happen anymore now that Charlotte’s pettiness has been exposed.

Sky finds herself stumbling through her day as events with Terrance play on her mind. The fact that she and Terrance had kissed and taken things further sees Sky dodge the Spiritualist as much as she can and appear to nudge her towards the realisation that Terrance is a fraud. As things get too much she announces that she will leave Erinsborough for a few days. However her plans change as she returns to the General Store the following morning to retrieve her purse before heading away from Erinsborough. Terrance calls out to her from a table near the door and he encourages her to give their sessions another go. He plays down the intimacy of their last meeting stating that all he felt during it was an overpowering sense of Stingray and his love for Sky. His words appear to break Sky’s resolve and she points out that she wants to believe Terrance. They meet for another session in the General Store later once it has closed for the day. Terrance launches into his act and Steph asks him about the trip she and Stingray took in Vietnam. Terrance attempts to work with this fact unaware of Sky’s lie. She adds more flesh to her story and disgust overtakes her as Terrance’s shows her how he tricked her previously agreeing with the lie and twisting her words to make it look like Stingray is responding about the event. As Terrance suggests they become intimate again, Sky snaps and forces out that fact that she and Stingray never visited Vietnam. Terrance tries to explain his words as Sky gets to her feet realising that he is a sham. She attempts to leave however Terrance blocks her path pleading with her to accept his words and pointing out that too much work has gone into the con to let it unravel now. As she struggles with Terrance, Sky reaches behind her for an object to allow her to overpower Terrance. Her hands fall on a sugar jar. She seizes it and swings it at Terrance’s head. He crumples to the floor in a heap and Sky sinks slowly to the ground looking at the unmoving Terrance in shock.

Boyd returns from visiting Max. He is greeted by the sight of Steph and Toadie hugging in the living room of number 32. Boyd attempts to accept the relationship and doesn’t cause a scene. He assures Steph and Toadie that he is ok for them to be living as a couple in number 32 and agrees to stay with them. He seems slightly distressed when he sees a Hoyland family photo sticking out of a box of tiedied junk next to the sofa but he has several other problems to cope with. His return isn’t welcomed Janelle who suggests he shouldn’t have returned. Janae is kinder, however Boyd is forced to accept he has lost his marriage, his job and the momentum from his education. He says as much to Charlotte Stone as he stops by her doctor’s office to ask for his job back. Charlotte plays him coolly however his current problems overwhelm Boyd and he breaks down in tears as he asks Charlotte to rehire him. Charlotte’s tough stance towards Boyd lessens and she talks with him for a while after which Charlotte agrees to allow Boyd to return as her receptionist.
