Inspired by Fox, Paul begins to plan his revenge on Elle and Oliver for stealing Lassiters from him. He attempts to ruin a special Lassiter business function by overriding the fire security system in the hotel which causes flooding in the restaurant and lobby. Quick thinking by Carmella sees the function being shifted to the Scarlet Bar however Paul’s success highlights the vulnerability of Elle and Oliver and their inexperience at handling the Lassiter business.

Sky admits her crime as Harold attempts to console her as she is swept by grief over Stingray’s death after bottling it up due to Terrance. Harold sits with her on the sofa in number 26 and talks quietly about the pain of loss. Lou encourages Harld to push to see how far things went between Terrance and Sky after Toadie’s revelation that part of Terrance’s con often saw him taking advantage of the young women he targeted. As Harold brings up the subject Sky breaks down even further. As he waits for her response she stutters out that she has done something terrible. Later she, Harold and Lou return to the General Store to find Terrance. Their hopes that Terrance has recovered from Sky’s attack are shattered as they spot Terrance sprawled on the floor. Lou looks for a pulse and states that Terrance is dead.

Ned struggles to regain his previous positive reputation after his confession to crimes such as his part in the burglary at number 26. Janae treats him with content as he offers to help her boxing training after Lou is caught up in Sky’s problems. Janae reluctantly agrees and Ned’s words that he was taught how to box with Stuart by their father when they were young appear to be true. Janae imposes a now talking policy and pounds the training gloves Ned holds for her to hit. His suggests that she is using anger to fuel her attacks and points out that she needs to be smarter if she wishes to overcome an opponent. His suggestion that her anger revolves around the breakdown of her marriage annoys Janae who rebukes him for launching into a conversation.

Carmella finds herself drawn back to her pills after she frets about making a good impression at the Lassiter function. Things appear to go well as the function gets underway however she stumbles as she attempts to engage in small talk with one of the attendees. She praises his competitor and shows her lack of understanding of the businesses the function is attempting to target. Things get worse as she becomes flustered and spills her drink on the attendee’s jacket and shirt. Elle steps in to rescue Carmella but the difficulty of the situation weighs on Carmella and she excuses herself a while later. Once outside the Scarlet Bar she opens her handbag and pulls out her pills.

Charlotte is alerted to the fact that Terrance’s scam has been foiled as she spies a copy of the private investigators photo of Terrance which is faxed to Toadie’s office. She quickly excuses herself from Boyd, who she was helping settle back into work, and tries to locate Terrance. She calls his mobile and hears it ringing inside the closed General Store. Banging on one of the doors to the store fails to get a response so Charlotte forces her way in through the back. She finds Terrance lying on the floor however he stirs as she enters. She tells him that he has ruined their plans and that they need to leave but points out that she would be better of leaving him to answer for his crimes given that he has once again taken things too far with their target. Charlotte begins to put this idea into motion as she turns to leave however Terrance sneers at her and says he will blow her own cover, He feels that the revelation that she has been pretending to be a doctor and putting all of her patients at risk is far more serious than him pretending to speak to the dead. His words stop Charlotte and she turns on him. She notices the sugar pot Sky used to hit Terrance and picks up another from the counter. She then kills Terrance with the second sugar pot and flees back to her office. There she hides the sugar pot in a cupboard behind her desk.
