Episode 5220

Pepper is startled when Kevin Casey reappears on her doorstep, wanting to talk through the traumatic events of the last few weeks. Plagued by nightmares himself he realises that Pepper isn't coping and begs her to open up. When Frazer arrives home he believes he has interrupted Pepper's stalker and attacks Kevin but Pepper insists he let him go. Trying to explain that Kevin wasn't the bad guy, Pepper breaks down and tells Frazer the shocking truth about her imprisonment. He calls in Rosie and although she fails to convince Pepper to seek professional help, she and Frazer are both on hand to make sure she feels as safe as possible.

Steph throws a dinner party, hoping to encourage Toadie to socialise with his coworker Rosie and fiance Frazer. Overhearing the conversation Boyd invites himself and his date Charlotte, totally oblivious to everyone's growing unease with their relationship. Over dinner Karl tries to schmooze Charlotte in his new role as a drug rep but she clearly struggles to keep up with the medical talk. Rosie declines her invitation when she realises Charlotte is there and, more importantly, that she's now seeing Boyd. The next morning she and Frazer head over to number 32 to warn Steph and Toadie about Charlotte's dodgy past. They confront Boyd with their concerns but, desperate for company in the aftermath of his split from Janae, he refuses to believe his new girlfriend is a manipulative liar and possibly not even a real doctor.

Injured Fox makes a speedy recovery and turns the tables on his generous host. Urging Paul not to seek medical help for his condition, Fox seems to enjoy tormenting his incapacitated benefactor. In extraordinary amounts of pain, Paul finally sneaks away from Fox and tries to make his way to the hospital. However, as he approaches his car he collapses to the ground. Has Paul left it too late to get help?
