Having learnt the truth about Mary's dark past, Sky sneaks back into her riot-torn block to rescue Kerry. She interrupts a stand-off between Krystal and Mary but Mary runs away and Sky can find no sign of her daughter. She races to the roof only to see Kerry's mangled pushchair on the ground below. As she tears back down the stairs, Mary re-emerges with Kerry safe in her arms. She reveals that she overheard Krystal plotting to snatch Kerry to get back at Sky, so Mary had hidden her. Safely back in their cell, Mary explains the story about Pepper and the grandchild she never had and admits that she needs help. As Sky breaks down, overcome with the emotion of the day, she has a flashback to her final moments with Terrence. She remembers clearly that she only hit him once. She hands Kerry back into Harold's care with a renewed determination to prove her innocence: Kerry won't be staying in prison, and neither will she!
Meanwhile Karl uses his new role as a drug rep to try to trip con artist Charlotte up on her medical knowledge. Ever the professional, Charlotte has prepared for their meeting in advance and manages to avoid falling into his trap. However, he spots the unusual glass paperweight on her desk and later realises it belongs to an old friend of his... who recently had his office burgled and all of his medical certificates stolen. As the Ramsay Street residents begin to piece the puzzle together, Boyd begins to have his own doubts when his boss makes a glaring medical blunder.
Rosie surprises Frazer with her desire for them both to make peace with their parents before they marry. Frazer's strongly opposed to the idea but Rosie believes he'll regret it if he excludes them from his special day.
Janae hears Boyd publicly announce his relationship with Charlotte and Ned offers to take her mind off things by stepping up her training. As much as Janae tries to fight it, it becomes clear that Ned's patient and sympathetic ear is even more valuable than his boxing expertise.
