Episode 5238

Completely out of his depth, Ned struggles to know what to do with Mickey. Janae eventually persuades him to relax and enjoy the time he has with Mickey before Kirsten comes back and to worry about how to tell him he's his dad later. The trio bond over boxing and when Mickey's dog Jake goes missing, Ned's the hero who manages to track him down. It looks as though Ned might just make it through after all until he gets two pieces of bad news. Paul is due home from hospital and Elle says they can't stay at Number 22. Then Mickey's mum calls. She explains that she needs more time alone and doesn't know when she'll be back. Has Kirsten dumped Mickey in Ned's care indefinitely?

Elle accidentally leaves her phone in Paul's hospital room and he's delighted when Gail calls. However, he's stunned to realise just how much she hates him and is left thoroughly confused by Elle's lies. He begs to be told the truth about his past but Elle continues to try and protect him from himself. Her time may be about to run out though... determined to set things straight with his beloved ex-wife, Paul demands that Gail be invited to Erinsborough. Can Elle persuade her mum to keep up the façade?

Overworked Karl misplaces his drug kit and Ringo worries Carmella may have stolen it. Susan's concerned that fatigued Karl isn't coping with his workload and yearns for the return of her happy hippy husband.

Lolly and Zeke kidnap Rachel's toy pony Crispy and send her a video message of the hostage as revenge for her posting the clip of their disasterous first date on the blogzine. When they deny everything, Rachel immediately blames Ringo who is busy searching Carmella's room for the missing drugs. He brushes Rachel off, telling her that he has bigger and more important things on his mind than her missing toys.
