Episode 5246

Believing he's protecting Sky, Boyd warns Caleb to stay away. Under the stress of the argument, Caleb's heart condition is aggravated and he's taken back to hospital. Sky begs Boyd to stop interfering, particularly when she twigs that he might be motivated by jealousy over her blossoming new relationship. Harold remains sceptical about Sky's feelings for this virtual stranger but Sky and Caleb insist that their connection goes beyond their link to Stingray. Is it really just a co-incidence that Sky has captured the same heart twice?

Karl has cold feet about Tom's visit, fearing that caring for his senile father will put too much strain on the rest of the family. However, Susan reminds him that he'll regret it later if he doesn't spend time with his dad while he can. Unfortunately Karl is heartbroken when Tom arrives and doesn't even recognise him: he thinks Zeke is a younger version of his son.

Alan Napier comes out of his coma and asks to see Oliver. Struggling to talk, he delivers the bombshell that he is Oliver's grandfather and that Mr and Mrs Barnes were not his parents. Napier seems even more spooked when he spots Paul waiting outside the hospital room but he passes out before he can explain himself. Does Paul have more of a connection to Oliver and his family than previously thought?

Elle struggles to stay focussed on her work around Oliver so she keeps a professional distance but Oliver thinks she's just being cold. She apologises and they passionately make up, only to get sprung by Paul. Paul explains to Harold that he's slightly shocked by his daughter's outlandish behaviour. Harold's amused by the new Paul's surprisingly moral stance but he agrees and points out that at least Paul is displaying the genuine paternal feelings he feared he would never have.
