Australian Video Music Awards
As the name suggests the annual MTV Video Music Awards are normally attended by Neighbours cast members who are attempting to rise to musical fame alongside their Neighbours role.
The 2007 VMA's were no different with Stephanie Mcintosh appearing and performing on stage after releasing her first album in 2006 and announcing her departure from Neighbours in early 2007. Natalie Bassingthwaighte was also in attendance representing her band the Rogue Traders who were nominated in the best dance category.
The Rogue's didn't manage to secure the VMA though as the award went to Freddie Le Grand's Put Your Hands Up For Detroit video.
Dan O'Conner, Natalie Blair and Eliza Taylor-Cotter
also attended the Sydney based event and were photographed on the red carpet.
Fashion wise most cast members failed to impress fans who are keen for their stars to look the best they can. Stephanie Mcintosh and Natalie Blair came off best. Eliza Taylor-Cotter faired less well and Natalie Bassingthwaighte brought up the rear with most agreeing her outfit was cut poorly and her makeup overdone regardless of her need to put forward a rock image when representing the Rogue Traders.
