Chook - General slang for chicken ("Running around like a headless chook")
Mole
- "She's a stuck up mole".
Stingray
A series of words and phrases introduced by the character Stingray Timmins (Ben Nicholas). These terms have also been coined by other residents such as Sky, Boyd and Serena.
Cake Taker
Belgium -"Belgium!"
Hufter - "You're such a hufter"
Hocky Puck
Spiggin - "You're not my spiggin friend anyway".
Cuban - "Holy Cuban"
Tool - "Stop being a tool"
Character Nicknames
The residents of Erinsborough are often known by shortened nickname by friends and family. Here's a brief look at these names and how the came about.
Lucinda - Elle Robinson's full first name, used occasionally by Paul Robinson.
Rosie - Short hand name for Rosetta Cammeniti used by her friends.
Pep - Allan Steiger's nickname for his daugher Pepper Steiger.
Bella - Used by Bobby Hoyland when referring to daughter Izzy Hoyland (Natalie Bassingthwaighte).
Stingray / Stinger - Given to Scott Timmins by Toadie to help him feel closer to Toadie's side of the family. Used at first by close friends and then taken on by others. Harold tends to forget this new name and David Bishop went out of his way to call Scott by less appealing variations of Stingray (such as "Stinker"). Janelle often used Scotty to referr to her son.
Summertime - A nickname used by Bobby Hoyland for his Granddaughter.
Sky Blue - Used by Joe Mangel when referring Sky.
Sez - Sky's nickname for Serena.
Breezer - A nickname for Bree Timmins used on occasion by Sky Mangel.
Smidge - Another nickname for Bree Timmins used by Dylan Timmins when
talking to his sister.
