This is a story set in the back end of 2010, it is told from the POV of Harry Ramsay as he tells the police how the death of Declan Napier caused his sister to spiral and attempt suicide.

This is a crossover story featuring Ali Bastian in her role as PC Sally Armstrong from The Bill. (no good reason, just because I can)

Part 1

Harry watched as his sister was wheeled out of the door by an ambulance crew, he wondered how they would get her down the steps to the drive where the ambulance had parked. He saw her pale face, and her body not motionless but in the back of his mind he could still her fitting, like she was when he had found her.

Until a few months ago his sister had been the strongest & happiest people he knew, her dance career was starting to take off, and she had found love, he has wished his life could run as smoothly as hers.

A police officer stood in front of Harry, blocking his view, it was a woman no more than 30, she had taken her hat off and to Harrys amazement was looking at him sympathetically, he didnt know the police were capable of that.

"Im Senior Constable Armstrong, but you can call me Sally if you wish" she said in an English accent, which suprised Harry "I know this is difficult, but can you tell me what happened to your sister, or why you think she would try to take her own life?"

Harry started to walk around her "Ive got to go with her, she needs me there?" he said distressed.

Sally Armstong moved to block his path, and smiled "what can you do that the paramedics cant do themselves?, why dont you sit down and tell me what happened, ill take you to the hospital when we are done" she gestured over to the sofa.

Harry found her presence calming, and sat down on the sofa, "where do you want me to start?" he asked as the Sally sat in the chair to his left. "From the beginning" she said

Obviously this is just the framing of the story, and its based on my suggestion of storylines that could come out of Declans exit rather than continue with the same storyline but with a recast, if this is something you would like to read please say so.

Not a massive fan of Kate then? Or do you think it should be a storyline?
