Deep Dish

Neighbours-Source.co.uk - Music - Brooke Fraser - What To Do With Daylight

Deep Dish are an America based band who deliver dance style tracks which feature a fair amount of electronic synthesis which sees their music take on a rather unique style.

The band are very established and have been releasing music for a decade or more. Deep Dish have released music to many countries around the globe include the U.K and Australia. Perhaps the best known track released by the band in recent times is the hit track "Say Hello" which most music listeners may have heard. Say Hello reached number #14 in the UK charts, #1 in the U.S dance charts and #40 in the Australian ARIA charts.

Given the nature of their music and the fact that it is quite strong Deep Dish music tends to be used during high drama exciting Neighbours scenes as well as scenes which see characters in trendier young places such as in the Scarlet Bar.

Most of the recent Deep Dish songs used in Neighbours songs have been taken from their last album "The George Is On" which was released in America and internationally in 2005.

Whilst Deep Dish songs are used fairly frequently in Neighbours episodes it may be quite hard to identify them unless you have a keen ear as they don't stand out massively from the shows in house backing tracks used during episodes as the Deep Dish tracks used often have little or no vocal parts.
