Late 2005 saw the news that Stephanie Mcintosh would follow other Neighbours stars such as Delta Goodrem and Natalie Bassingthwaighte into the world of music. This saw Stephanie sign a multiple record deal with Universal records with plans to continue with her role on Neighbours as Sky Mangel as well as begin releasing much to the Australian Aria Charts.
Several months into
2006 and things were kicked up a gear with the release of an official Stephanie Mcintosh web site by Stephanie's record label. The site revealed that Stephanie's first single was to be released in a months time on July 29th 2006 and highlighted the fact that the single, "Mistake", was part of Stephanie's debut album "tightrope" which was to be released two months after Mistake.
