New Official Site Launches

With a new official Neighbours site having been in the works for the last few months, today sees the launch of the new look Neighbours.com.
The change came as the BBC scaled back it's Neighbours web presence along with the promise that Neighbours.com would be revamped with new features for both U.K and Australian fans of the show.
Neighbours.com went through a few quick changes with a placeholder added listing some of the features planned for the new site.
As the weeks ticked by anticipation seemed to grow for the new look official site with many suggesting what they would like to see on Neighbours.com.
With the launch of the new site many of these suggestions seem to have been taken on board. Along with a sharper, clearer design Neighbours.com now offers many of the things being provided by existing fan sites (such as more detailed episode guides and cast biographies). The new site addresses one of the main requests by fans, exclusive pictures and videos along with access to the stars behind the show.
Initial response to the new site has been very positive with most commenting on the design of the site (which combines blue and gold along with exclusive cast pictures to create a Neighbours feel to the web page) and the new content.
