After several weeks of voting through TV Week Magazine, the 2007 Logie nominations have been annouced.

Traditionally Neighbours performs poorly at the awards, which attempt to highlight the best of Australian television, trailing to other similar shows like Home and Away.

2007 does not buck the trend with the show and it's cast members only nomiated in three categories (four if you count ex Neighbours star Natalie Bassingthwaighte).

Another trend of the Logies is the under representation of the depth and breadth of Neighbours talent with voters tending to pool around popularity rather than skill.

Again this doesn't appear to have changed in 2007 as Natalie Blair recieves two nods being nominated in the best actress silver logie and the highly sought after gold logie categories.
