UK Neighbours makes way for Ascot

As summer is here sporting events such as Wimbledon and the Royal Ascot horse races take precedence in the BBC's air time schedule.

During this time Neighbours is shuffled around or taken off air to make way for live coverage of these events. This year is no different with the first changes taking place this week to accommodate the Royal Ascot.

For the next four days (Tuesday 14th June to Friday 17th June) the lunch time airing of Neighbours will be dropped leaving the normal evening slot of 5:35pm on BBC1 as the only airing of Neighbours.

Expect further changes in the near future as Wimbledon begins.
