Colac against the Timmins'

Bawdy, boisterous and out of control. The dysfuncional Timmins family has rocked the quiet suburb of Ramsay Street with their straight talking uncouth actions.

The quiet, small town of Colac, where the fictional family hail from, have spoken out against them though. The residents of Colac are unhappy with the "bogan" image which the writers of Neighbours have given the family who moved from Colac to Erinsborough. Various Colac media outlets have sought interviews with the Neighbours writers so they can explain themselves.

However the majority of Colac residents see the funny side, admitting that Colac does have some people with attitudes of the Timmins, as do most places around the world.
