Oliver, Marco, Riley And Ned To Go

Despite suggestions of a cast turnover reduction with the 2007 re launch of Neighbours more departures continue to be announced. Late 2007 saw Janae Timmins (Eliza, Harold Bishop, Frazer Yates and Rosie Cammeniti earmarked for departure and they are now joined by Oliver, Marco Riley and Ned.

News of the departure additions has received a mixed reception. The tendency of Neighbours to retain cast members for long periods in the past makes many unsettled by the rapid changeovers which detracts from the uniqueness which attracted some to Ramsay Street in the first place and push it to the generic soap feel it has been heading towards for several months. However the characters leaving aren't too established which has lessened any outcry, however the high number of cast departures should see very different Ramsay Street as the 2008 season draws to a close.
